Social Services Program

Program description: Social Services is a branch that aims to protect the human rights and social justice and aims to overcome economic inequality. Social services program graduates and employees generally work with the people who are in the disadvantaged and vulnerable groups. Social Services Program is a field that aims to act with solidarity, taking it on as a duty to do useful works for people and society.
It is a four-semester higher education program.
The purpose of the program: Migration, disasters, fires, epidemics, etc. disasters are frequently encountered in the world and in our country. In these and similar situations, social systems have been established for those in need. Accordingly, the Social Services program is a department that aims to improve the quality of the life of the disadvantaged groups in the society and to overcome economic inequality problem. Social Services is a profession and academic discipline based on both theory and practice.
Employment opportunities: Social services is a department that aims to contribute to social change, problem solving in human relations, empowerment and liberation in order to increase the well-being of individuals, families, groups and society. Social work intervenes at the points where people interact with their environment, drawing on theories of human behavior and social systems. Human rights and social justice are essential in social work. Employment opportunities:

They can also work in the social assistance and service units of local governments.
