About the Program
GENERAL INFORMATION OF THE PROGRAM
Law Office Management and Secretarial Program; it is a four-semester higher education program that aims to raise qualified personnel to contribute to office work and to carry out office activities in public and private sector law offices, bar associations, courthouse and legal consultancy. The professional staff in the field of Law Office Management and Secretariat are  law office officers who have experience in office management, can show the ability to take responsibility without taking direct orders, can make decisions within the limits of the authority given to them.
The teaching period of the program is 2 years.
The purpose of the program; to raise qualified personnel who know the necessary legal terms and idioms in the field of law, have a good command of legal terminology, can provide and communicate with the necessary communications and organizations inside and outside the office, can make effective and fluent presentations, have a good command of using office programs on the computer, know how to create  file and archive, can speak Turkish fluently, have the ability to represent, to pursue a lawsuit and litigation services. In order to achieve this aim, the course programme indludes necessary technical courses. With the opening of vocational schools that provide both secretarial and legal education, legal secretariat has ceased to be a profession studied by chance. This situation has led to the need to raise qualified personnel and also reveals the importance of the legal secretariat profession. For this reason, law office management and secretarial training has been started to be founded in vocational schools that provide associate degree. It is planned that graduates of the program will contribute to labour supply.
Employment Opportunities: The graduates of the program can work in the front offices, filing and archiving offices, private sector legal consultancy, especially in the law and law offices, the courthouses within the Ministry of Justice.
